JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Mandatory Skills:

·Working knowledge/experience in the following:
   -Network design
   -Network Security
   -Firewall and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) technologies in general
   -Network sniffers and packet analysis

·At least 2 years' experience in supporting Cisco and CheckPoint firewalls and IPS, especially hands-on experience in installing and configuring these technologies in brand new converged environments.
.Solid TCP/IP foundation
·Strong customer service and results focus
·Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
·Strong problem resolution and decision making skills
·Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
·Ability to handle competing priorities
·High technical aptitude, particularly with network security technology

Desirable Skills:

Desired:
·Some knowledge in the following:
   -UNIX operating systems
   -Setting up and supporting VPNs
   -Scripting languages such as Shell and Perl
·Security and/or Network Certification
.CISSP or GSEC certification
