Position Description             

The client is seeking an experienced Flex developer to work on web-based applications.

 

Skills Required                     

The position requires 3-5 years of experience developing Flex-based enterprise web applications.
Experience with Flex 4, along with the Parsley and Cairngorm frameworks is highly desired.
Experience designing and building user interfaces using Flex to add/edit and view data is required.

The candidate should also be familiar with the design patterns used to design enterprise-level Flex applications.  

 

Skills Desired            

Experience with a range of third-party/open-source Flex libraries would be beneficial. Familiarity with Flash Builder and source control tools such as Perforce would be helpful.
Some experience using Java, in particular any experience with Java web services, would be beneficial. Familiarity with Spring would also be useful.
Any exposure to FIX/XML messaging and general financial industry experience would be valuable. Basic database/SQL knowledge would be a plus
