J2EE Onsite Project Leader

Relevant Experience (Yrs) :6-8 Yrs
Technical/Functional Skills :
•Strong experience in Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JMS/MDB)
•Experience with RDBMS (preferably Oracle and/or IBM DB2 UDB)
•Experience or working knowledge of Struts
•Experience or working knowledge of Hibernate
•Working knowledge of AJAX
•Experience or knowledge of IBM MQ
•Experience or knowledge of JSF and ICEFaces
•Exposure to various integration technologies is an advantage
Experience Required
•This resource shall manage several projects for the customer at onsite and get the work done from TCS onsite and offshore teams.
•The role expects the person to lead from front and provides plenty of enriching and learning experience through direct interaction with stakeholders. The customer and project also provide a good platform for the associate to grow by having an open approach to various ideas and proposals the associate might come up with to fulfill the customer's business and technical needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
•Plan and execute several projects for the customer from onsite
•Discuss with business users and document the requirements and convey them to offshore
•Assign the tasks to the offshore team
•Review the work output from the offshore
•Support the user testing and implement the user tested modules/projects in production
•Status reporting
•Interaction with other stake holders to get the work done including BNSF Technology Services and/or other BNSF vendors
