Genuent is hiring a Oracle Developer  for our direct client in Austin, TX area.  This is a 6 month contract with a tentative start date of as soon as possible.   Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word Format) along with your pay rate requirement to Gautam, gyeleti@genuent.net

Oracle Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Position Type: Contract

Note: Only Citizens and GC Holders.

This position is working on a software development team designing and developing mission critical large-scale, high-availability, multi-tier, transactional, enterprise systems.

Duties:

• Work collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high quality delivery enterprise applications
• Plan and estimate development work needed to implement assigned tasks
• Transform complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions
• Author and maintain design and technical documentation necessary

Education and Typical Years Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science or related field and 3 plus years of industry experience.
• 5 plus years experience using at least one major ORACLE database
• 5 plus years experience with J2EE development
• 5 plus years experience with database driven, multi-tier software development
• Object oriented analysis, design and programming skills
• Knowledge in database programming and querying
• Experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology
• Good interpersonal skills in order to interface successfully with team members
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
• Creative problem solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic small company environment
• Financial system experience a plus
• Experience in high-volume, transaction processing productions systems a plus

Programmer, Analyst @ Sterling Heights, MI

 

Job Description:

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements and documents moderately complex programs.
• Analyzes, designs and writes specifications for programs.
• Assists support personnel in locating and resolving problems of significance with programs.
• Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation.
• Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs.
• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
• Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.
• Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
• Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility.
• Provides technical advice on complex programming.
• Remains abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
• Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
