Software Test Technician - QA

This is a manual test role within the Agile Scrum environment. You will try to recreate bugs, follow test cases for new features, write test cases, and test new and existing features. You'll work closely with a small team of designers, testers, and developers within an agile scrum environment, and be responsible for the quality of their team's features.

THE BASICS: 1-3 years of full-time quality assurance or software test experience for web-based applications College degree preferable

THE EXPECTATIONS: Leverage strong domain knowledge to provide comprehensive manual test coverage Find defects that if missed would have had consequential user impact Rarely miss defects while testing software Work with minimal supervision< Set an example by working hard Separates action that produces useful results in real time from mere activity or busy work Works beyond the minimal requirements of assignments Creates a fun and safe environment for team members If a project is handed to you, you see the project all the way through to completion Creative in finding solutions to problems Is willing to do more than his or her share of the work Carefully reviews work before it is submitted Works toward "win-win" outcomes Recalls and appropriately uses a mass of learned skills and data about the world
