Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6 months

 

Experience Required: 5+ years

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience designing, documenting, and executing test cases in a Business Intelligence environment.  
• 3+ years of experience in development and support of Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and/or reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of data quality, data profiling and dimensional modeling concepts.
• 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• 2+ years of experience designing developing or testing reports in Cognos 8/10.  Must be able to troubleshoot Cognos generated SQL and create SQL to test data and Cognos solutions.
• Experience testing ETL and using ETL tools including Informatica Workflow Monitor.
• Prior agile testing experience for Business Intelligence development and knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Prior experience defining, documenting and executing a testing plans.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to solve problems from and ETL, report and testing viewpoints.
• Must have excellent oral/written communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

 

Desirable Skills:

 

• Healthcare claims/data knowledge.
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL database experience.
• Experience using defect reporting and tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
• Previous experience automating test cases in tools such as Cognos or SAS.
•  Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, business or related area.
