Job Title: Project Manager

Location: 2 days in Stamford, CT and 3 days in Trumbull, CT.

Duration: 12 months

 

Experience Required: 9+ years

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Mandatory Skills:

·         Must have project management experience with coordination between multiple stakeholders

·         PMP certified

·         Experience in managing  infrastructure project (VM, server builds, DR, monitoring tools)

·         Sound knowledge in SDLC development lifecycle, change control , testing and release management procedures

·         Certified PMP

·         Proven track record in delivering projects on-time and on budget.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

·         Responsible for project schedule, budget, project tracking, reporting requirements, status reporting, communications and risk artifacts.

·         Manage the project through all the phases and milestones from requirements gathering to post-implementation reviews. The project coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the necessary resources/skills are integrated during the project(s)

·         Facilitate meetings between teams to gather requirements,  plan  / schedule next steps.

·         Work closely with the Operations and Infrastructure teams and with the various Service Providers in scheduling work, deploying resources, and in creating approaches so that the project is on time and on budget.

·         Establish and maintain clear escalation procedures so that problems and issues encountered are addressed in a timely manner.

·         Meet with the business communities often and on a well-defined periodic basis so as to ensure that the project status is well communicated. Conduct root cause analysis if problems are encountered.

·         Maintain all resource planning and time allocations in the Kintana system, along with maintenance and enhancements tracking.

 

Desirable Skills:

Background on Insurance Domain is desirable

Good Analytical Skills

Good written & oral communication.
