Job Responsibilities:
· Performing basic analysis and design for program changes to gain an understanding of application changes.
· Interpreting VB6 code and converting it to C#.NET
· Providing time estimates for development tasks to aid in scheduling.
· Monitoring progress against task estimates to provide status.
· Completing more complex program changes to translate specifications and/or requirements into code.
· Applying application specific technical skills to independently produce deliverables.
· Acquiring and utilizing basic business knowledge to support the applications.
· Recognizing code inefficiencies and making suggestions for improvement, if applicable.
· Providing documentation to support program changes.
· Planning, documenting, and executing unit test plans to ensure all code changes meet requirements/specifications.
· Supporting programming changes during quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and post implementation to ensure integrity of application.
· Complying with and contributing to standards and protocols to ensure development consistency.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of computer related experience are required (Associates or Bachelors preferred). Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience.
· VB6, C#, .NET, SQL, ASP.NET (classic ASP is a PLUS) knowledge a must. Project will involve converting VB6 into .NET.
· High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of computer related experience are required (Associates or Bachelors preferred). Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience.
