Title: Enterprise System Administrator

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Perm

End Client: Unisys

Job Term: Contract (only W2)

Interview Process: Phone and Skype.

 

Interviews will take place over the phone and then 2nd round may take place in person or over Skype.

Job Description:

• This consultant is required to be part of an Integration team for a large, enterprise data center in Central Pennsylvania.
• The data center comprises 4000 Wintel servers and 800 Web-facing applications and continues to grow. 
• It is widely recognized for its innovative use of the latest technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, and other leading IT companies. 

The consultant's responsibilities involve the following:

• Work with the client and vendors to deploy, integrate and support applications in the datacenter. 
• Coordinate deployment of application components in a DR location 
• Handle support tickets and is responsible for troubleshooting Windows, IIS and application issues. 

The core qualifications are:

• In-depth technical knowledge and demonstrated proficiency (with 3 years of experience) 
• IIS Administration 
• Active Directory 2003/2008 
• Five (5) years of experience in a Windows (2003/2008) environment, installing and configuring servers and related products. 
• Similar experience with Linux environment is preferred. 
• MCSE 2003 or MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification.
