Technical/Functional Skills
· Perform technical reviews of the project deliverables for the application which is a Java based middleware component using XML API web services.
· Five (5) years experience in Java development and leadership experience;
· Must have demonstrated proficiency with the following technologies and frameworks: Java EE, Apache, SOAP, XML/WSDL/XSL, DB2 (SQL).
· Must have demonstrated proficiency with technical reviews of the project deliverables for the application which is Java based and uses XML API web services.
Experience Required

Roles & Responsibilities
· Must have demonstrated proficiency with database principles and proficiency with DB2 database.
· Responsible for the quality of deliverables of a combined onshore/offshore team.
· Apply ability to multi-task and manage multiple, concurrent development streams.
· Provide consultation for new products or new enhancements; research and analyze impact.
· Involvement in determining how product will be maintained to include identification of tools needed and who will be responsible for maintenance and support.
· Review code and reports, maintain and distribute timely documentation as required.
· Analyze, research and provide system enhancement recommendations for customer inquiries post-project implementation.
· Must be highly analytical with strong research skills, able to discern key issues and information in complex situations and resolve problems effectively; organized and proactive with a "can do" attitude; able to operate independently, requiring little to no supervision; a creative and inquisitive professional with excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work smoothly under stress, manage multiple assignments and adapt as business needs change.
