Project/Role:
Seeking an experienced .net developer who is detail oriented and has experience and a willingness to research and debug complex enterprise grade systems. Same skillset as your standard .net Senior Development person but requires strong performance refactoring experience and desire to troubleshoot existing code.
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in object-oriented programming, RDBMS knowledge, and experience in large multi-national corporations preferred.
Responsibilities
• Works with clients and Business Analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts
· Analyze and resolve performance issues in all environments
· Ability to view problems objectively and develop creative solutions to highly complex, time sensitive problems
· Knowledge of XSLT and Agile methodology
· Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.
• Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
• Works closely with the Global Solution Architecture team, other senior Solution Architects and the executives within the Enterprise Architecture group to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teams
Required Skills:
· Ability to view problems objectively and develop creative solutions to highly complex, time sensitive problems
· Knowledge of XSLT and Agile methodology
· Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.
• Production support experience
• Database tuning experience
• Network engineering experience
o Big-IP
o 3DNS
• Experience with Content Delivery Networks
• Performance/stability tools experience like:
o OpNet Panorama
o Appsight
o Microsoft SCOM
o Gomez
• A minimum of 8-10 total years of software development experience, with at least 5 years designing enterprise-scale architecture
• Expertise in most of the following – .Net Framework, C#, Transact Sql, Web Services, Ajax, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST.
• Strong knowledge of distributed communication systems such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• Microsoft SQL Server database.
• Performance tuning experience is must.
• Project and task oriented with a focus on details.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
• Familiar with Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Microsoft unit testing framework, NUnit etc.
• Familiar with Performance analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
• Experience using Windows Workflow Foundation
