Position: Project Manager
NLocation: Somers, NY
Duration: 6+ Months
The PMO will sit with the business in New York for this major HR transformation project.
This role is imperative to the HR Transformation project.
The individual is responsbile for creating a process to deliver reporting capabilities for subteams and status reporting.
The individual is responsible for the coaching and governing project deliverables and approvals. Primary focus will include knowledge required for Reporting and Analytics (strong Excel) and influencing others in compliance of project management processes Other:
On-boarding and Training for PLM, comply and direct others for the establishment of governance,
Risk/Issue/Change Management, development of deliverables and approvals process (stage gates)
Cross team integration and communication
Participation in or facilitates leadership forums (meetings, conference calls) as necessary
Liaison with the Core EPMO in order to adhere to standard methodology, deliverables and use of tools required for project management practices
· Track record for reporting and analytics, excellent Excel skills, Business objects knowledge preferred
· Minimum of 7 years Project management experience required
· Knowledge of PepsiCo policies and standards would be favorable
· Knowledge of project management methodology and practices
· Ability to build teams and generate a spirit of cooperation while coordinating diverse activities and groups; people management and negotiating skills within a team environment o Ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups and influence the activities of others not in own reporting structure
· Ability to work independently and lead and influence others in a matrixed organization
· Strong knowledge of interworking of project tools and the practical application and techniques used for them
· Demonstrated documentation acumen, presentation of materials for organizational alignment and job aids
· Strong presentation skills, especially related to training, on-boarding and jobaides
· Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and work against the right priorities
· Drives for results – ability to manage complex tasks and maintain focus
· Strong relationships with personnel at all levels with a diverse range of specializations, including senior leadership.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with business and IT customers
· Ability to facilitate and communicate persuasively
· Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
