Role: Automation Test Engineer
Length: 6+ month
Location: Seattle, WA (Local always preferred but not required)

Automation Test Engineer:
The candidate will work with the internal project teams to identify and finalize performance requirements and develop performance test plan for the release. Candidate will develop performance test scripts using HP LoadRunner (LR). Candidate will work with the team for debugging/analyzing performance problems and prepare a closure report (performance test results, recommendations).
- Good experience with scripting HTTP & Web Services protocol
- Strong programming/scripting experience to debug the LR scripts using C++
- Must be strong in scenario modeling and finalizing parameters appropriate for the scenario – determination of Think time; situations to use Rendezvous point etc.,
- Must be able to identify bottleneck situations from LR report; and modify the LR script to capture more details to determine the root cause
- Strong understanding about client server architecture – ability to parse the LR results; separate Server & Network response times; also must have the ability to explain the reason for variations
- Ability to organize the results; documentation skills; good analytical skills
- Experience in integrating HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) script (for client front-end interaction) with LR script is a plus
- Experience with QTP is a plus
- Experience in writing code using C# is a plus
