Location:         Seattle, WA  -- locals only, face to face interview    

 

Rate:   DOE

 

Description:

Should be able to make an adequate evaluation before beginning project.

Looking for a Cisco Network engineer. Client's needs help with the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, from architecture through operations.

Role & Responsibilities

· Work with clients to identify business and technical networking requirements
· Design high-availability Local Area and Campus network infrastructures
· Deploy network infrastructure based on the latest advanced technologies and methodologies
· Test network connectivity to ensure it is functioning as planned
· Document network architectures, designs and operational "run books"
· Design and deploy network management systems
· Support and transition networking solutions to network operations organization
· Train people within our organization
· Aggressively seek to develop business, technology and project management skills

Information on Qualifications

· 2 plus years of internetworking experience required
· Prefer CCNA or equivalent skills
· Working knowledge of internetworking concepts (e.g., routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, IP addressing and wide area networks)
· Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network operating systems, load
balancing and/or DNS/DHCP a plus
· Desire for growth in technical skills through certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) or other similar achievements
· Outstanding oral and written communication skills
· Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills
· Demonstrated history of delivering results

Certifications
· CCNA: Required
· CCNP: Preferred or Equivalent Experience

Education
A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline is preferred accompanied with designated certifications. Candidates should have a desire to gain technical skills through advanced certifications (MCSE/CCNP/CCIE) or other similar achievements.
