Description: We are modifying many existing BI reports and building additional in support of a large effort to add new metrics for shopper behavior to product & location metrics.  This role reports to the BI/MicroStrategy Team where we need a strong MicroStrategy Architect to work with our IT team in order to properly position data in the Metadata and Optimization layers to create reports from the provided Report Definition Document or Wireframes. 

 

This position will work with the business on requirements gathering and with the offshore resource(s)MicroStrategy Developer(s) through the development cycle to provide continuity to the project.   

 

Qualifications:

·         8+ years of overall IT experience

·         MUST HAVE EXPERINENCE AS A MICROSTRATEGY ARCHITECT

·         6+ years with MicroStrategy BI Suite including

o    Architect

o    Desktop

o    Report Services

o    OLAP

o    SDK

·         4–6+  years experience with general Business Intelligence concepts

·         Teradata

·         Data modeling

·         Expertise in T/PL/SQL and database scripting

·         Excellent problem solving and analytic skills

·         MicroStrategy certification preferred
