Need  QA Testing Lead

Location: Dublin, OH

Duration: 6 Months

Skills:

•Apply QA Principles and Software Development life Cycle process improvement practices

•Interact with developers and product/business analysts to communicate testing strategy/status

•Apply strong Problem analysis and resolution skills

•Administer & monitor the recording of all defects for project assigned as the Test Lead. Identify outstanding high defects that have not been addressed by the project team.

•Provide regular testing updates to Manager of Quality Control group.

Identify issues and concerns that could potentially inhibit an application's release.

•Continually innovate and create new ideas & procedures for the Testing Center of Excellence team.

•Develop a basic understanding of the architecture and design for all applications tested within team

•Exhibit a Good attitude and the ability to build moral amongst team members and customers supported by Testing Center of Excellence Team

•Be accountable for all project work assigned to the individual and team.

•Work independently and adapt to an ever-changing environment

•Write detailed Test Plans; developing test conditions and manual/automated Test Scripts for various front and back-end functions relating to Internet based applications

•Record and track software defects through IBM Rational and/or HP Quality Center

•Provide proactive daily status of issues and progress made during test execution and general application testing

 

Extremely Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulate complex issues succinctly

•A strong understanding Testing Principles and practices

•Detailed oriented and processes the ability to work independently and/or with little supervision in a fast paced results driven environment

•Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles and how they contribute to the Software Development Process

•Demonstrated Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process

•Demonstrated understanding of the Project Management Process and has developed Detailed project plans

Works well in a team oriented environment

•Bachelors of Science in Computer Science/Information Systems

•Required – Minimum 3+ of supervising other analysts or leading projects

•Required - Minimum 3+ years of testing or project management experience – writing test plans, test

cases, and scripts

•Intermediate experience with SQL

•Experience with integration and component based testing across diverse systems
