JOB TITLE : Business Analyst
Location : RUTHERFORD, NJ
Duration : 12 Months
Rate : $55/Hr
Responsibilities:
Manage the budget/forecast and book closing process for a product/organization within the Technology Infrastructure North America.
This division has 3,759 employees with $1,374MM in gross expense
The monthly process is built upon detailed analysis of thousands of lines of data.
Timely, accurate reporting of an early estimate ("Flash") occurs 3-5 days before month end.
The Flash requires a good understanding of trends, timing of monthly expenses and meeting deadlines.
Responsible for accurately estimating financial opportunities and risks to the various expense lines as compared to the forecast.
Evaluate Operations forecast for Capital expenditures and adjust forecast accordingly.
They have forecasted an annual capital forecast of $321MM with $2,873MM (Cost) assets already on the balance sheet.
Review and validate purchase requisitions for account coding and completeness.
Master system to use data for various expense analyses.
Monthly variance and expense trend analysis.
Ad hoc requests/special projects.
Requirements:
Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle or SAS financial systems PowerPoint, and Business Objects Reporting.
Interpersonal Skills: Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and interact with the finance community, operations and project management.
