Job Description:

 

Role: Sr. C++ Developer

Duration: 6-12+ Months
Location: South Brunswick, NJ

(F2F interview must locals highly preferred)

 

Description:    

Tasks to be assigned:

Apache module development

Make files and C/C++ compilation (32-bit and 64-bit)

Build creation 

 

Required Skills:

Must Have 9+ years experience

Minimum 5+ years of C/C++ programming experience in a POSIX environment

Expert knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Systems programming in Unix/Linux/Solaris, including system and library calls

Working knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools

Multi-threaded programming, preferably Posix threads

Experience in Apache module development(at least one apache module) and Unit tests (C Unit)

In-depth understanding of plug-in architecture and MVC.

XML and JSON formats, its validation/parsing.

Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS) and socket programming

Knowledge of build release processes

Knowledge of Multi-platform application development

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Unix Shell scripting and best practices in software development/testing.

Strong web development and design skills

 

Specific Application Experience:

Apache advanced web server configuration and additional Apache modules (like: mod_rewrite, mod_proxy), Apache request/response cycle, HTTP/HTTPS protocol, authentication authorization and access control approaches

Popular JavaScript libraries: extJS (live grid), tooltip, JavaScript text editors, rico, jquery, prototype, scriptaculous, etc.

Advanced JavaScript programming (Ajax, JSON) and JavaScript debugging (e.g., with FireBug module of Firefox)
