Job Title: Java + Marklogic Consultant

Location: Burbank, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills: Java + Marklogic

Thorough understanding of J2EE stack

Thorough understanding of Marklogic platform

Person should have the good understanding on the extensive search capabilities available in MarkLogic Server including full-text search, metadata/fielded search, structure (XML) search, range indexes, analytics, geospatial search, and alerting

Information Modeling in MarkLogic Server

Understand the MarkLogic architecture and the requirements for clustering

Setting up the first host, adding additional hosts, and leaving a cluster

Understanding on how clustering works in MarkLogic Server, as well as how to efficiently scale MarkLogic Server with D-nodes and E-nodes

Gain the understanding of how to integrate MarkLogic Server with other technologies, including Java, .NET, and SOA/ROAs

Architecture Ownership

Work with on shore technology partners to understand the business and technical requirements of the project

Translate those requirements into technical design, along with development teams

Validate design with client, technology partners and off shore development teams

Produce detailed design documents to support implementation

Define guidelines to meet implementation requirements

Define deliverables and scope items, with the review of team management and off shore development

Coordinate functional and technical requirements with on shore Business Analyst teams

Primary responsibility for client spec implementation document
