Position: Web System Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 7 months

 

 Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications

·         BS and 5-8 years of industry experience with the following software and monitoring tools:

·         Must have a least 1+ yrs of experience with HP OVO alarming and console services, Introscope, and system checkouts.

·         Must have at least 5 + years of experience with hardware load balancers, Weblogic 8.x / 9.X/ 10.X, Tomcat,  Sun One Web Server, IBM MQ series , Autosys and NDM application.

·         On-call 24x7 experience for supporting over 300 servers in an Internet Banking environment.

·         Knowledge of SSL certificate installation for SUN One and Weblogic using the key tool.

·         Experience with Remedy for use with Change Request and Trouble Tickets.

·         Experience with RHEL 4.X / 5.X OS and SUN Solaris OS version 8/10 with tuning and troubleshooting using different tools.

·         The 3L should have knowledge of how batch works and a + if there is experience with Autosys.

·         The 3L should have excellent communications skills with peers and with management.

·         In addition, the 3L should be able to be an independent worker as well as a team player.
