Java Technical Architect

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 9 months

Job Description:

Develop and enhance applications based on specifications. Codes and

tests according to design specifications. Skilled in coding, testing,

and implementing configuration changes to software applications to

meet both functional and technical requirements. Unit test

applications and develops system and user documentation. Some

responsibility over other developers with less experience. LEVEL 2

Requirements: Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent and 3-5 years of

related and progressively more responsible experience. For SMEs, Sr

Level doesn't apply. Performs a broad range of work, sometimes complex

and non routine, in a variety of environments. Understands and uses

appropriate methods, tools and applications. Demonstrates an

analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Works under

general supervision. Uses discretion in identifying and resolving

complex problems and escalating issues. Usually receives specific

instructions and has work reviewed at frequent milestones.

Education:

Additional Job Details: This role requires all three skills: Java,

Hibernate, Spring. Looking for Sr Java Developer / Application

Architect for development of client's Video Middleware solutions. This

role requires a strong background in application architecture and

hands-on Java development along with deep experience in Spring and

Hibernate frameworks.

MUST HAVES: • Web services annotations, EJB 3.0 (Session Beans),

Annotations, JAX-WS for Business tier. • Hibernate 3/Annotations, JPA

Entity Manager, Spring Framework, Integration and Security, Spring

Core, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, AspectJ, LDAP ActiveDirectory •

Hibernate Threading, Hibernate Thread life cycle, Thread-Safe with

concurrency • Active MQ, JBoss Scheduler, REST Spring MVC/CXF

Framework • Oracle 10g/11g

NICE TO HAVES: • Grails, groovy, jQuery, Struts, Tapestry, Grails,

groovy, jQuery, JUnit, easymock, powermock, Ant, ivy, grails build

scripts
