Position:SharePoint Application Developer
LOCATION: CHICAGO
Primary Responsibilities
The duties of the SharePoint Application Developer will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
1. Building a SharePoint site to enable business services documentation to be readily accessed by staff and administrators.
2. Posting OneNote files for team members onto the site, not as an uploaded document, but as an updateable wiki-like tool.
3. Confirm site may be easily migrated onto the CCC employee portal in the future.
4. Insert contact details into the site's contact web part without restriction by ldap membership requirements.
5. Build an integrated calendar that includes CCC holidays, team member leave time, and project dates.
6. Configure templates for Tasks to avoid retyping recurring titles and descriptions.
7. Delete designated issue log wikis.
8. Enable functionality to achieve posting of MX Excel spreadsheets as readily editable wiki-like tools.
9. Tie tasks to the integrated calendar.
Additionally, the resource will be responsible for performing tasks throughout various stages of this project. The following is a list of tasks/deliverables that will result in the successful completion of this project:
Design Phase:
- Work with CCC and staff to gather requirements and establish metrics.
- Work with staff to create Fit/Gap document for CCC review.
- Provide/present a functional specification and data mapping workbook.
- Present written status including readiness reports at weekly meeting.
- Provide summarized written monthly project report including readiness reports.
Build Phase:
- Assure all configurations are completed per functional spec/data mapping design.
- Work with CCC to provide a detailed testing plan inclusive of Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure all testing has been thoroughly conducted.
- Ensure any issues identified during testing are resolved and provide a resolution/alternate plan for those that are not/cannot be resolved.
- Compile a testing report to present to CCC for review/approval.
- Present written status including readiness reports at weekly meeting.
- Provide summarized written monthly project report including readiness reports.
Implementation Phase:
- Ensure the successful roll out of the newly designed systems.
- Present written status including readiness reports at weekly meeting.
- Provide summarized written monthly project report including readiness reports.
Project Handoff/Closure:
- Provide CCC with all documentation in accordance with the approved project plan.
- Present a project closure report to CCC for review and approval.
- Complete the project requirements checklist showing that all project tasks have been completed.
- Present written status report at weekly meeting.
- Provide summarized written monthly project report.
