·         12 month long contract

 

Associate Oracle developer with some Java skills. 

 

REQUIRED:

•             3years of experience in developing, installing, supporting and administering Oracle database systems

•             Experience in Oracle data integration, processing, data cleansing and generating detailed report for decision support.

•             Database query tuning support for backend related application performance issues

•             Experience data modeling

•             Proficient in MS Windows operating system and MS Office tools

•             Basic level proficiency in Linux and Unix operating systems

•             Knowledge in relational and object-oriented databases, testing and development.

•             Excellent communication skills with the great demonstration skills as well as excellent team worker

 

Daily responsibilities:

·         Collect data files and create loadable flat files for updating Oracle databases from the data files.

·         Use SQL queries for creating, modifying, and updating tables.

·         Test scripts for new tables and troubleshoot issues in the files to be uploaded or the script.

·         Use Java for collection of data and creation of flat files.

·         Work with customers and team in creating new tables; liaise with the customers (Process Engineers) to come up with meaningful column names and to validate data uploaded into the Production tables.

·         Develop PL/SQL procedures to extract data from the Production databases into flat files for periodic upload to Enterprise Data-warehouse tables.

·         Develop a table creation script that will be used to create destination tables in the Production database for each new Process data we aim to extract, being careful that the table being created conforms to the template in the Excel files.

·         Attend meetings and participate in discussions on progress and ideas

·         Other duties and tasks as assigned
