Job Title: WebMethods Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
Description:
The webMethods Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio utilizing Software AG's webMethods Product suite.
In this role, he/she will be expected to possess advanced development skills in key technologies (articulated below). The individual in this role should ideally possess deep technical skills in the webMethods environment.
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming integrations.
Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
Provides technical support to project team members.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required Skills:
2+ years Software AG webMethods ESB experience (Designer, Broker, Integration Server, my webMethods Server, JDBC Adapter). Should have current experience with webMethods 8.2 release level.
Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) concepts.
Significant experience with messaging concepts, pub/sub, request/response.
Significant experience with Java, JMS, Web Services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, HTTP(s), FTP.
Significant experience with relational database technology. Desired to be Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and related tools, SQL, stored procedure programming and testing.
Experience with designing, developing, and implementing complex integrations for end-to-end solutions at a middleware level.
Demonstrated decision-making, analytical and problem solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively as member of a team, with minimal guidance.
Software architecture, design, development, and testing.
Preparing technical and other project documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with administering the webMethods Integration Server and deploying integrations is a plus.
Experience with networking concepts is a plus.
Experience with .Net 3.5/4.0 framework with C# .NET.
Experience with Insurance industry a plus.
Educational Qualifications/Experience:
7 – 10 years experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
