Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $60/hr on C2C

 

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility for creation of system requirements for IT application systems with emphasis on meeting with users to define Information requirements as defined by the Unified Process and standards of the client’s IT PMO. Completion of all detailed data and reporting requirements, data mapping data models. Conduct QA processes, including ADA and vulnerability testing. The candidate must be able to participate throughout the project life cycle, from planning to implementation, with emphasis on business requirements from the business community in the development and roll-out of multiple builds of an enterprise application.

 

 

DUTIES

           Work with the Project Manager participating in all phases of the project life cycle including business requirements gathering and documenting, definition, design, development, testing and deployment following the Unified Process.

           Facilitate interview and group sessions to obtain business requirements.

           Gather detailed business and technical requirements and participate in the definitions of business rules and data standards.

           Prepare Gap analysis deliverables, process flow diagrams as needed

           Participate in business systems planning for integrated analytic needs. Participate in defining approaches and priorities.

           Perform research and create deliverables as required by Project Manager.

           Creation of Detailed Use Cases

           Writing test plans

           Writing and executing Test Cases

           Support the development of end-user training materials and end-user documentation

           Prepare and deliver presentations for training and as required by Project Manager

           Provide operational support

           Participate in product deployment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

           8+ years experience in business analysis techniques

           Expert knowledge of systems and/or business analysis/design concepts

           Knowledge of the Unified Process method of project implementation

           Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience

           Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills

           Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills

           Proficient in English grammar, usage, mechanics, and composition

           Ability to effectively use MS Office tools, including Visio, Project, Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint.

           Experience in SQL, Clear-Quest, Rational Test Manager reporting tools a plus

           A thorough understanding of relational databases and data models
