Java Website Developer with Oracle WebCentre

24 months

Albany, NY-State of NYS Project

Day to day tasks include:

 

Assisting the department in developing Websites and applications in the latest version of Oracle's 11g WebCenter Suite: WebCenter Spaces, WebCenter Portal/ADF, WebCenter Sites, WebCenter Content.

Provide complex technical solutions and implementation of new technology initiatives relating to application development with Oracle's tools.

Provide leadership for the development of application and business intelligence solutions. Analyze multiple business areas requirements, handle business and technical design, and determine optimum solutions to meet large scale enterprise business objectives.

Lead staff in system testing and development of testing plans, presentation of training, and planning /execution of large enterprise data systems and applications.

Providing mentorship to junior team members on advance developing practices and knowledge in developing enterprise application solutions to support data transparency and public consumption.

Provide high technically knowledge, implementation experience and advanced enterprise solutions for the creation, modifications, additions, or enhancements for Oracle ADF, WebCenter Portal, WebCenter Spaces and WebCenter Sites driven web design and build to support multi agency enterprise solutions using these platforms.

Mentor DOT staff and cross-train as needed.

 

Requested skills include:

• 84 months experience developing Web based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to developed user friendly interfaces, in the presentation data, for easy public consumption. 
• 24 months hands on experience in creating Oracle Portal applications using ADF and Java languages (version 1.4 or higher).  
• 18 months Demonstrated Experience in developing Websites and Applications  using the latest version of Oracle WebCenter Suite of Products (Oracle's 11g WebCenter Portal, WebCenter Spaces, WebCenter Content and WebCenter Sites).  
• 18 months Providing advanced technical solutions in implementing Oracle 11g WebCenter Spaces navigation models, create spaces, subspaces, pages and be able to integrate WebCenter
  Content, including creating customizations and task flows for department enterprise solutions. 
• 18 months Providing advanced technical solutions in implementing, configuration and development of Oracle 11g WebCenter Spaces Services: Analytics, Announcement, Blog, Comments, Discussions, Events, People Connections, Polls, Tags, Wikis services and Web Center Content.  
• 12 months as a Certified Oracle WebCenter Portal 11g Implementation Specialist.
