Relevant Experience (Yrs)     :    5+ years
Technical/Functional Skills     :   
•    At least 5 years building and supporting SQL Server in a large organization
•    Strong experience in Power Shell
•    Strong experience in SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012
•    Experience upgrading databases
•    Experience backup and restores with SQL Server tools sets
•    SQL Server Clustering
•    Writing a high quality design document.
Experience Required        7 + years
Roles & Responsibilities    :   
•    Power Shell scripting and support
•    Support and modifications to custom Power Shell monitoring system
•    SQL Server installation/patching/upgrading
•    Setting up backup and maintenance jobs
•    Monitoring backup and maintenance jobs
•    Monitoring servers for storage/performance
•    Working with users on deploying applications within SQL Server
•    Refreshing of dev/qa databases from production
•    Tracking and Reviewing of SQL Server deployments
•    Working with users to determine database owners
•    Mentoring SQL Server DBAs
Generic Managerial Skills    :    Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education     :    B Tech/M Tech/Masters
