Job Description
The UI Lead Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing complex interactive user interfaces for very large enterprise applications. This candidate must have extensive experience working with content internationalization and have a solid understanding of Content Management Systems. Must also be experienced in leading and mentoring junior UI developers. You will interface with designers, product owners, Java developers, and QA tester's during a full development life cycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of Web UI development experience
- Deep understanding of advanced JavaScript
- Strong HTML expertise
- Fluent in CSS and CSS3
- Experience using JQuery and other JS frameworks
- Strong Ajax integration expertise with SOA web services
- Experience with UI engineering, solid understanding of interplay between JavaScript, HTML & CSS
- Fluent in JSP or other server side scripting languages
- Experience with internationalization with Content Management Systems
- Experience with performance engineering utilizing caching and minifying
- Experience with implementing Web Analytics Tools
- Solid understanding of web architecture, understanding the differences between tiers
- Strong communication, organization and time management/prioritization skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree is preferred
Desired Skills and Experience
- 6+ Years of experience with UI engineering in the Java based Web Development platform
- Experience with Adobe CQ5 Content Management Platform
- Experience working with JQuery Templates or other client-side JavaScript Templates
- Experience in working with JSON as data-interchange format
- Experience working with Coremetrics Web Analytics Tool
