Title: Win7/Win 8 Deployment Architect
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
1. He should not be a deployment engineer who just knows how to go to users desks and does the actual migration of windows XP to windows 7, fix any issues etc.,
He should a level higher than the Deployment engineer who has planned the deployment, Configured tools for deployment - SCCM, USMT etc. Has created USB bootable Images that can be given out for deployment engineers.
Understand end to end process involved in migration, technical phases that it gets through and details of what happens in each of these phases
Skills:
Strong experience in Win 7 / Win 8 OS Administration
2. Strong experience in desktop deployment and methodologies
3. Good experience in deployment tools with respect to Win 7 / Win 8 migration
4. Good experience in Software distribution and reporting
5. Good knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Servers
Certifications:
Windows 7 and / or Windows 8 Certified
2. SCCM certified
3. MCSE or MCTS on Windows 2003, 2008, 2012
Key skills required: (in the order of priority)
Windows 7 and / or Windows 8 OS Administration
2. Exposure to deployment and migration tools like MDT, SCCM, Altiris, LanDesk, USMT, etc.
3. Desktop deployment and methodologies
4. Windows 2003, Windows 2008 Active Directory
