Work Location   Hoffman Estates, IL

Duration              6-12  months

 

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 

• 5+ years of experience in the data layer of application development

• 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level

• Data Policies, Processes and Standrads

• Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts: Conceptual, Canonical, Logical, Relational

• Performance, Scaling and Caching

• Data Content Management: Master Data, Meta-Data, Data Life-cycle, Data Quality

• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Data Analysis: Business Intelligence reporting, Business rules management, Data Migration, ETL, Archive

• Advanced SQL coding skills "

Roles and responsibility               

" Responsible for overall Data architecture design and standards

 Guide onshore and offshore Developers to ensure standards are met

 Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle

 Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects

 Stay current with emerging industry trends

 Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks

 Create Detail Data design document based on the business requirement

 Create/Update schemas as per the requirements

 Create/Update reports, dynamic dashboards as per the requirements

 Good written and oral communication

 Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions

 SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed"

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills     

Work with different teams – Enterprise architecture, project teams, Infrastructure teams, Implement Data solutions with complete considerations on Infrastructure capability, performance, supportability to achieve end user business results

Total experience in required skill (years)               ~8 years
