Position: Java/C# Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY (Local)
Contract: 3+ months (with extensions given up to 2 years based on performance)
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will be a strong technologist capable of taking on end-to-end responsibility for user-facing system features, coming up with strategic and tactical architecture and design and implementing client and server code
Strong core Java and C# development skills, including debugging, performance analysis and tuning. WinForms/WPF NOT required.
Experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency.
Experience with relational databases (Sybase & DB2).
Ability to work with UNIX and Windows-based platforms.
Skills Desired:
Financial industry experience
.NET application development and debugging (windbg, sos)
Excel/VBA development
