This high profile critical position use established work procedures to analyze, architect, design, develop, implement, maintain, re-engineer and troubleshoot small to moderate applications that impact multiple WSDOT WSF (Washington State Ferries) business units.

Responsibilities:
include providing technical expertise in understanding customer business issues, being conversant in the customer's business language, consulting with higher level technical staff to resolve complex problems, and composing technical documentation.
Developers must have the ability to provide guidance, peer mentoring and knowledge transfer for State staff, have a full understanding of testing processes & procedures, and be willing to work within the agency's configuration management process.
