Role : Java/UI Developers
Location : Jersey City, NJ

Length : 6+ months

Start : ASAP

Our Client is looking for multiple  Sr. UI Consultants to enhance the existing application team. This person will work on the UI team in the development and feel of the UI for web applications. You will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource

Specific Technical Skills: 

 

·         3-5 years of Java experience

·         Strong experience with UI Development.

·         Strong knowledge of JavaScript language (including event handling, closures etc ).

·         Strong knowledge of CSS/HTML 4-5, Document Types etc.

·         Strong knowledge of AJAX/JSON is a must.

·         HTTP RFC knowledge ( to understand, interpret, improve and resolve ) any issues relating to caching, proxying, file types is needed.

·         Strong knowledge of browser support for HTML tags, CSS flags ( specific to IE, Firefox , Safar and Chrome ).

·         Exposure and working knowledge of Web page optimization techniques.

·         Hands-on knowledge of any UI tools such as Dojo, JQuery etc. Dojo will be preferred.

·         Working knowledge of all developer tools such as In-built browser debugging tools, HTTP Watch, IDE's etc.

·         Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Excellent team skills and interpersonal skills.

·         Experience with the development models and software development lifecycle (SDLC) model
