ACCOUNT MANAGER NOTES:
HEADLINE: T-SQL/Informatica Dev w/T-SQL 08/12; creating ETL mappings using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x; relational DBs; exp. working w/batch processing environments; & excellent communication skills; who will work in Stevens Point, WI on a contract through Dec '15.
The T-SQL development is the most important factor, and Informatica is secondary. They're moving data from a source system, so there's some Informatica involved. Insurance/financial industry experience is strongly preferred, and these candidates will be ranked higher. They use Informatica 9.1.0, but will consider similar 9.x versions.
 
Our client, a reputable, established company is looking for a T-SQL / Informatica Developer to join their team in Stevens Point, WI on a long-term contract basis. The contract is scheduled to run through December 2015. As a T-SQL / Informatica Developer, you will work on a project that involves an insurance premium calculation system being built in a batch processing environment that loads financial transactions from a policy source system, calculates and generates premium earnings data, derives data using a rules engine, and formats / aggregates data for downstream interfaces. Based on requirements and technical designs, you will develop ETL mappings to move data using Informatica, and develop the required components in T-SQL. In this role, you will work in a team environment to develop the required components for the insurance premium calculation system. This will require working with IT developers and subject matter experts to interpret the requirements and designs.  
 
Requirements:
Extensive experience creating procedures in T-SQL 2008 / 2012.
Experience creating ETL mappings using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x ( 9.1.0 strongly preferred ).
Experience working with relational databases.
Experience working with batch processing environments.
Insurance / financial industry experience, in particular, experience working with premium transactional data is strongly preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired: Creating ETL mappings using Informatica PowerExchange 9.x; integration and system testing; test script creation and execution, which entails writing the scripts to execute batch processes and the SQL to validate data in a database.
