Position Title: Build Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6 months
Qualifications:
Deployment of code/DB objects from pre-production environments all the way to production to support various delivery schedules to meet business objectives and automate them wherever possible
Writing scripts to automate the deployment sub-processes.
Keeping track of deployment schedule aligned with overall release plans & environment availability in an agile delivery model
Primary Skills/Must Have:
Deployment of code and DB objects from pre-production environments all the way to production to support various delivery schedules to meet business objectives and automate them wherever possible
Experience with large scale DB and application migrations as part of complex enterprise level system upgrades
PowerShell, writing and adapting for automation in Hyper-V.
Knowledge in Azure and Azure services
Sound understanding of Database Technologies (SQL) with strong troubleshooting skills.
Sound understanding of IIS Administration with strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Windows Server 2012.
Octopus automation tool and the ability to parse and write XML for it.
