Job Description :
Ø We are looking for a "Data Analyst" But this is more of a procurement role
Ø 10+ Years of Financial experience
Ø Software licensing
Ø Negotiation skills
Ø Pricing and rationalizing deals and renewal deals.
Business / Data Analyst - Highly Specialized
Ø Oversees the acquisition, analysis, strategy and dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
Ø Conducts high level business analysis involving complex business requirements and processes.
Ø Analyzes current processes and recommends process improvements.
Ø Provides technical and business knowledge to clients.
Ø Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments.
Ø Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data.
Ø Develops position statements on complex subject matter questions.
Minimum Job Specs:
Ø Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.
Ø 10+ years of related financial services experience
Ø Extensive knowledge of business functions
Ø seasoned in project management methodology
Ø Excellent analytical skills
Ø Very strong relationship management skills
Strong writing and presentation skills.
Ø 3-5 years of experience in negotiating maintenance renewal deals, new software terms and conditions and licensing costs is a requirement.
Ø Ability to forge and leverage partnerships is required.
Ø Expertise in performing in-depth analysis of licensing and vendor proposal comparisons is a must.
Ø Ability to perform individually or in a team construct with minimal management oversight is required.
Ø Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, with a significant emphasis on Excel, is a requirement.
Additional Departmental Responsibilities:
Ø Deliver on the IT Transformation licensing initiatives (Licensing) through in depth analysis of major software expenditure and contracts and work directly with Finance department to identify transformation and budget savings throughout the year.
Ø Support the rationalization of software applications in use throughout SSC.
Ø Support the development of a demand management and resource planning tool for the department
