Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Need Locals)

Job Description:

 

Sr. BI Developer - designing and developing Cognos reports and dashboards utilizing Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Business insight, Framework Manager & Transformer; data mart/data model design built in Framework Manager, optimizing SQL statements, designing/optimizing database objects or program units using Oracle PL/SQL, requirements gathering, report tuning, Cognos administration, unit testing and system testing on data mart and reports, create report documentation, work closely with users/business clients and perform demos

Additional Job Info:

5+ years of hands on experience with Cognos including version 8/10 - client is migrating to version 10 possibly later this year Experience with dimensional, logical and physical data modeling for data warehouse/data marts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - definite emphasis on this! Oracle PL/SQL experience mandatory Prior experience doing development for financial or accounting reports - Mandatory Ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team - small project team working closely with business users SDK, JavaScript experience a plus IBM/Cognos 8/10 certification plus Java a plus
