Our direct client is looking for ( 3 ) Sr. QA Testers - Louisville, KY.  LOCAL

Location:  Louisville, KY
Duration:  12 months - Possible Extension

Job Description

The Sr. QA Analyst will serve as a Test Automation Developer.
Responsible for identifying, designing, coding, and executing test automation solutions to increase testing efficiencies within specific Systems.

Details of Position:
Sr. QA Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Identifying test automation targets and corresponding solutions for improving efficiency
• Shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts;
• Working with application development teams to participate in solution design to ensure testing coverage of functions and applications;
• Creating, executing and troubleshooting automated test plans and scripts using QTP, Load Runner, and custom testing using traditional development platforms;
• Assisting in test data preparation and management; Planning, scheduling and performing automation testing assignments; Implementing and maintaining an effective automation framework process;
• Reviewing existing manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team;
• Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing all automated test case related activities during iterative development, system testing, regression testing, and post production testing.

This person must have good analytical skills and a strong technical skill set to judge whether certain manual testing is suitable for automated testing.  Ability to judge whther testcycles can be shortened.
Will collaborate with peers on a frequent basis, including software developers, user groups, and QA/testers. Base experience in software development methodologies and platforms required.
