Delphi Developer
Location: Minneapolis
Duration: 12 Months
Primary Responsibilities:
· Delphi application development and enhancements
· 3rd Level support
· Custom application development on the Delphi platform for individual Statements of Work (SOW)
· Develop level of effort estimates for SOWs
· Participates in the requirements definition, design, code, test and maintenance phases of software product development lifecycle
· Ensures work-product is of high quality through the use of best practices such as code documentation and the use of automated code analysis tools
· Provide afterhours support when required for critical customer issues
· Some travel may be required, but expected to be minimal
Required Skills:
· 10+ years programming experience
· 5+ years Delphi programming experience
· 5+ years working with MS SQL
· 2+ years Delphi 7 development
· Web development experience
· Ability to break down complicated problems into manageable components and work well in time-critical situations
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to relate effectively to external as well as internal customers
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong customer service focus
· Able to work in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment.
· Self-driven, independent and able to find his way through situation of ambiguity without requiring much guidance once initial requirements, directions are given.
