Role Description              

Full-service global investment banking and securities firm is seeking a MS SQL DBA.

Candidate is expected to have strong background and hands-on experience on all DBA functionalities.

8-10 years of experience with MSSQL server.

Should have experience in installing and configuring various versions of MSSQL server.

Should have experience in upgrading MSSQL server to 2008 and 2012 Must have windows scripting skills for monitoring and reporting.

Should have experience implementing MSSQL replication. Must have experience is implementing DR solution for MSSQL using log shipping or SQL mirroring.

Should be able to hit the ground running & quickly identify the root cause behind the performance issues and provide solutions.

Should have experience dealing with MSSQL Dynamic management views and functions for performance analysis.

Should have experience using SQL profiler and perfmon for troubleshooting performance issues.

Excellent communication & coordination skills is required.

Should have experience in migrating servers across data centers.
