Title: Data Engineer

Location:  Roseland, NJ 
Duration: 6 Months+
Interview:  Phone and F2F ( No Skype)

Description: 

* Required: data engineer as team member of a data science group
* Coding: python, java, c/c++, or other
* Solid background with databases: Oracle, MySQL, DW appliances (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum)
* Data Warehousing Concepts
* Experience or interest in clusters: Hadoop, Hadoop streaming, map/reduce, hive, scm, hdp, pig, mahout, madlib.
* Experience data wrangling/etl
* OSes: Linux, Unix
* Interest or experience in collaborative filtering, clustering, regression analysis, machine learning, nlp, algorithms
* Internet data sources, Jason, XML, bson
* Intuition about data and data mash-ups
* Work well independently or in groups
* Not afraid to work complex/seemingly intractable problems
* Able to communicate effectively with others
