Required Experience :
Network Monitoring , Network Performance, Capacity Planning
Experience in LAN/WAN hardware and software support, ranging from help desk, desktop support, and systems engineering through network engineering, network management, tier 3 support and project management.
Responsibilities :
• Perform product evaluation, and testing as well as planning and execution of product upgrades and patch releases
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Network Management/Monitoring technologies
• Develop flexible strategies and processes, allowing for resolution to new and evolving customer requirements
• Compile network health statistics, creating watch lists and identifying secondary areas of interest
• Solve network and capacity issues using technical skills, knowledge and experience, along with understanding of in-house processes
• Provide end-to-end monitoring and management of application, network, and system health and performance
• Review industry standards and practices for network performance and capacity management, implementing new and/or improved technologies as needed
• Audit network device configurations, highlighting potential security risks and weaknesses, and identifying misconfigurations
• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, preparing reports and presentations
• Establish low level, detailed work procedures and instructions
• Conduct training sessions to inter and intra-departmental user groups
