Senior Project Manager
As a project manager , your involvement in the achievement of the team's objectives is to contribute to:
Ø Documenting and assessing impacts of project change requests in a timely manner.
Ø Maintaining the healthy management of your project by mitigating risks and defining resolution plan for addressing issues.
Ø Ensuring your projects are auditable (CGI quality processes applied).
Ø Contributing to client satisfaction appraisal throughout the delivery of your projects
To achieve these objectives you will need to:
Ø Use standardized tools, templates and processes to manage your projects. Where required you may have to use a client specific methodology, tolls and processes.
Essential knowledge/skills/experience to be successful in this role:
Ø Minimum of 10-15 years of directly related experience including a minimum of 3 + years senior level of customer facing project management experience
Ø Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies
Ø Advanced ability to identify and define problems and make recommendations for resolutions
Ø Advanced ability to plan and pro-actively manage project financials/budgets and report progress
Ø PMP certified or ITIL certified
