Position:QA Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Duration: 12 months +

Rate:$30/hr

 

Job Description:

 

The QA Analyst will write and run test scripts to ensure the delivered application is meeting defined business requirements. This role will work in coordination with another BA/QA team member to cover the project needs.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

- Meet with Product Owner and Care Center training staff to define and document the process

- Define requirements in multiple dimensions, including functional, performance, and usability

- Works with Product Owner and Technical Lead to prioritize deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities

- Identify interfaces with other departments and document related requirements

- Act as a subject matter expert (sme) on product development team, working with the team to document functional requirements and break them down into clearer user stories for the team to deliver

- Define project acceptance criteria and ensure they are met

- Assist with product training by writing reference material for the new application

- Provide guidance regarding methodology and tools for tracking requirements in an agile project

- Create test plans and map them to the requirements

- Run test plans and document results and defects

- Provide guidance regarding methodology and tools for tracking defects in an agile project

- Provide guidance for regression testing completed application development

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics

- 3-5 years of experience in all listed responsibilities

- Knowledge of Jira, Redmine or other project and defect tracking tools

- Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile and SDLC

- Quick learner of technology solutions and business operations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect would be beneficial
