Position: QTP tester with Mainframe/AS400 testing experience

Around 5+ years of testing experience in QTP and preferably in Mainframe/AS400 Systems.
• Analyzing Business Requirements for creating and reviewing test ware – Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
• Automation Feasibility Analysis
• Automation Test strategy, planning and estimation
• Automation framework development/enhancement
• Automation scripting, Dry-runs
• Setting up of Automation test centre of excellence
• Interface with project stake holders
• Enforcing strict quality acceptance criteria
• Automation Status reporting, root cause analysis
• Triaging of defects and coordinating defect fix testing by working with offshore teams
• Promoting improvements in Automation test processes
• Should have knowledge on Test estimation, Optimum use of tools and techniques
• Hands-on working experience on SQL queries to perform the data validation testing
• Hands on working experience on Quality Center (QC) tool
• Excellent Communication and Documentation Skills
• Be able to understand and explain the STLC life cycle and methodologies.
• Flexibility to work in onsite/ offshore model
• Domain and Working knowledge in Retail or Pharma will be an advantage
