Job Title : PeopleSoft HR Functional Business Analyst
Location : Chicago, IL - Downtown Area
Duration : 6+months
 
Bill Rate :  $60-65/hr
 
Start Date: ASAP
 
Our client, an established growing company based in Downtown Chicago, is looking for a PeopleSoft HR Functional Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis, initially for 6 months, with a very strong possibility of getting extended to 1 year or longer. This project is focused on cleaning up HR Data and improving the integration of the data across systems in a variety of areas including benefits, recruiting and learning. As a PeopleSoft HR Functional Business Analyst, you will work closely with project managers, business and technical resources and SMEs to identify business and data needs and process. In this role, you will work to understand, simplify, and improve the user experience in meeting business objectives in all endeavors; work directly with technical teams on requirements; provide project-driven business analysis: functional requirement gathering; and generate test plans from functional requirements.
 
Requirements:
7+ years of very process-driven business analysis experience, including working for services companies on a project where you built an operational or analytical reporting environment, cleaned and consolidated data and implemented new processes.
Strong PeopleSoft HR functional experience.
Experience with software integration, data integrity / clean-up and reporting.
Six Sigma certification ( Lean or Black Belt ) is preferred.
Good foundation of technical and analytical skills  ( Excel, Visio, Data Compare and Query building ).
Knowledge of Data Warehouse / BI technologies and tools is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and develop relationships across business and IT professionals to obtain process and technical requirements.
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work on one to many projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
 
ACCOUNT MANAGER NOTES:
Excellent (10 on a scale of 1-10) communication skills are mandatory. They need to be technical and have the ability to do data analysis, create spreadsheets, etc. The process will involve a brief HR interview, a technical phone interview, and then a face to face or web interview for non-local candidates.
