Job Requirements/Details:
This role will is part of the CORE Test Team. Under direct supervision, assists in the creation, preparation, and implementation of systems quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of requirements reviews and test scripts.
Creates, prepares and implements systems quality assurance reviews for numerous applications.
Creates basic to moderately complex test plans using templates and guidelines.
Works with more experienced analysts to assist in test strategy development.
Creates basic to complex test cases and test scripts.
Performs simple to moderately complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation which may include database testing.
Consults with users to share information and clarify instructions.
Creates test plans and scripts for own projects.
Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation.
Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specifications defects.
Documents all phases of Systems QA process.
May provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
Basic Qualifications 4+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience or equivalent business experience.

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Must have proficiency with the Microsoft Suite tools for projects (MS Project, project budgeting, resource planning, Systems Development Methodology)
Experience in developing test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results.
Mortgage origination experience a must!!!
Preferred Skills BA/BS degree (prefer a degree in an IT related field)
Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and metrics for testing.
Experience with web applications.
Experience in XML and SQL a plus
